Sylwia has spent her career working within the framework of architecture and design in the offices of Paris, France, Casablanca, Morocco, Los Angeles, California, and New York, New York. Her natural affinity to art and creation of space and form brought her to robustly pursue her career in architecture and interior design by obtaining her Bachelor of Architecture degree at Ball State University, Indiana in 2003 and a Master of Architecture in 2009 at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
Art had been an integral part of her life in many forms. In the past, Sylwia has had the opportunity to make use of her love of design by working in different facets of design, interior design, and architecture focusing on high end retail in New York City, while simultaneously pursuing her love of creating. Her experience includes working closely with artists and craft experts to create special environment features and objects as well as prototypes, customized lamps and lighting features. Her past work experience includes high end retail and residential design, retail development, and store design. Her experience rounds out firm side where she has focused on retail design at Gensler, as well as multiple in house retail design roles at L Brands, Tory Burch and Tiffany and Co.
Most recently awarded a recognition as one of 2020’s 40 under 40 in retail design in the May/June issue of design:retail magazine, she concurrently pursues her love of art – and the love of experiencing, making, and creating. Sylwia has been a resident of New York for over 14 years, and hopes to continue to pursue as well as push her art abilities to the next level.
